Fasting is the spiritual practice of denying yourself food in order to draw closer to God.

Consecration Fast

Consecration:

To be set apart, dedicated, and fully devoted to Christ.

Every Friday morning through the end of 2026, we are calling our church to a Consecration Fast. As we pray and fast together, we are asking for revival fire to fall upon us, consecrating our lives and making us holy, and that the fire of the Holy Spirit would spread throughout our church and into our community.

We are asking God and believing that this time of prayer and fasting will lead to us sharing the Gospel with 1,000 people in our community by the end of 2026.

Throughout this season, we are asking everyone to focus on these three prayers each Friday:

1. Pray for your heart.
Ask God to reveal any areas of your life that need to be fully surrendered and consecrated to Him.

2. Pray for one person by name from our church.
Someone who sits near you on Sundays or is part of your small group. Ask God to overwhelm them with His purifying fire.

3. Pray for one person by name who does not know Jesus.
This could be a neighbor, coworker, friend, or classmate. Ask God to use you to reach them and that His fire would overwhelm them.

As we seek God together in this season of prayer and fasting, we believe He will transform us, strengthen His church, and bring many people to Jesus.
