“Love your neighbor as yourself.” — Jesus
What if we actually did that?
In a world full of isolation and division, it’s time to reconnect. We’re bringing neighboring back to the neighborhood.
What Are Summer Neighbor Nights?
Summer Neighbor Nights are all about stepping out of our routines, getting to know the people around us, and showing them we care. It’s simple. Just create opportunities to show real love through small acts of kindness and sacrificial serving. This isn’t a program. It’s a mindset — one that says we’re going to take Jesus’ words seriously and live them out on our streets.
Where Do We Start?
Loving our neighbors doesn’t have to be complicated. Start small or go big — there’s no “right” way to do this. The key is to be intentional.
Here are some practical ways to get started:
- Wave & say hi
- Sit in the front yard
- Bring them a dessert
- Invite over for dinner
- Set up a sprinkler for kids
- Host a BBQ
- Go on a walk
- Plan a block party
- Host a game night
- Help with a project
